Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Admissions to the BE program are governed by the rules of the Government of Maharashtra, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

A. For Maharashtra State Candidates:
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical / Vocational subjects.
- Secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
- Must have appeared for MHT-CET conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

B. For All India Candidates:
- Must have appeared for JEE (Main) Paper-I.
- Should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in PCM subjects at HSC or equivalent level.

C. For Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
- Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) from an AICTE-approved institution.
- OR passed B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as a subject in XIIth standard with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) from a UGC-recognized university.

Admissions are conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

• Step-by-Step Process:

Online Registration:
Candidates must register on the State CET Cell website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org.
Fill out the application form and upload required documents.
Document Verification & Confirmation of Application Form:
Can be done through Facilitation Centers (FCs) designated by CET Cell.
Provisional Merit List:
Released based on CET/JEE scores and academic credentials.
Option Form Filling & CAP Rounds:
Candidates must fill the Option Form for institute and branch preferences during CAP Rounds I, II, and III.
Seat Allotment:
Seats are allotted based on merit, reservation, and preferences filled.
Admission Confirmation:
Visit the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) and later report to ASM's Next Technical Campus for final admission confirmation.

Admission Procedure for Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

1) Any candidate who has passed the XII standard Examination in Science stream from Maharashtra State board of Secondary and Higher secondary education or equivalent board of examination is eligible for admission to the (F.Y.B.C.A.)

2) Passed Three Year Diploma Course approved by the DTE, Maharashtra State or its Equivalent Authority.

Admission Procedure for Master In Computer Applications (MCA)

The candidate should be an Indian National, appeared and Obtained non zero positive score in MAH-MCA-CET (Common Entrance Test) for the year 2024.
For Open Category Candidate should pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelors degree with Maths or Statistics at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
For Reserve Category Candidate should pass with minimum 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and any bachelors degree with Maths or Statistics at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
Students appearing for their final year graduation are also eligible to apply.
